Database upgrade issue..SAP B1 8.8

Dear All,

I install SAP B1 8.8 but my database Previous Company database is in 2007B PL 08.

when i go to login screen Select the database i put the ID and Password and Click ok at that time Following Error occur.

(you cannot upgrade Company database from SAP Business One client.Use the upgrade CD or Contact your IT Administrator for the Upgrade. )

Please Help me

From S partner id u can download 8.8 version directly.

Dear Mangesh,

You can go to following link and need S-ID to login & download the latest Patch for SAP b1 8.8:

https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/sbo-swcenter (You can select Updates on left panel and select SAP B1 8.8 to download the latest patch available)

Here you will find upgrade.exe, which you can run and select the components you need to upgrade and here it will give an option to select the database that you wnat to upgrade to SAP B1 8.8

But before upgrading to SAP B1 8.8, please check TDS tool on SDN for transferring TDS related details, as it does not happen automatically. The link for TDS Tool is as follows:

Hi

U have to run the upgrade exe file like hou ur upgrading the patch levels from low level to high level. u should not install seperatelly...

U can have document in the cd for the process of upgrading 8.8 from 2007
