System error: during currency translation

Hi sapgurus,

While running COPA assessment cycle iam getting the following Error.

System error: during currency translation

Message no. GA735

Diagnosis

A serious error occurred during currency translation in cycle , , segment . A currency field was not filled.

System Response

Currency translation could not be carried out.

Procedure

Inform your system administrator.

I maintain exchange rate type in OB08, still the error is getting.

Hi Sreekanth,

Please check if you have maintained a cost center in the respective segment from where the currency information can be derived. This is the most common cause of this error message.

Hi,

I already maintained Cost center in Assessment cycle.

Actually some invoice are posted in USD currency for that particular period . I made some invoice for next month in QAS client and run assessment cycle . After that i rerun the last month cycle, now error is not showing.
