What means Web Dispatcher parameter wdisp/force_dest?

Hi all.

Can anyone tell me what this paramter means?

wdisp/force_dest=java

I find some "java performance fine tuning" guides which refer to this parameter.

I also found this parameter on one of our systems (with a different value: wdisp/force_dest=1).

I do not find an explanation what this parameter means?

No notes search, no SDN, no google, no SAP Help, no company documentation :o))))
