Item category specific legal regulation

Hi All,

We have requirement where for different item categories legal control check is enabled. For example TAN and TAM. We have two legal regulations active under legal control check EARUS and EARHK.

EARHK is activated only when the ship to is from a specific country and this is working fine.

Now my requirement is EARHK is only one that need to be applied to sales order items with item category TAM. EARUS should never be applied to item category TAM.

Is there a standard way, i checked the configuration and i guess nothing is available out of the box. Any custom way can this be achieved.

Sunny, I have not tried out, but, my understanding is: if you maintain the item category control only at "legal regulation" level under "legal control", only the specified "legal regulation" should be used for controls.

Relating it back to the case you mention, if EARUS is not linked to TAM at all, it will not be checked. Let us know if this is not working.

Hi Nishant - Thank you for you quick response.I tried it but it does not work that way. If an item category is activated for legal control it does not work for a specific legal regulation.
