Eevnt linkage is must.

Since event linkage will get stored in customizing request.

So transfer that request using SCC1 to your testing client. Then try

Please check the binding from event to workflow in SWDD->Basic data-> start events.

your BO and release code should be binded.

And also check the release strategy config in your testing client in SPRO

Hi Ajay,

Even though the Binding is in place i am assume you haven't done manual binding. I believe you forgot to bind the release code or something because that is a mandatory field.

Check the binding between event container --> workflow container and let us know.

Please check in SWDD->Basic data-> start events...whther you have the below binding:

&_EVT_OBJECT& --> &PURCHASEORDER&

&RELEASECODE& --> &RELEASECODE&

&_EVT_CREATOR&--> &_WF_INITIATOR&

Have you checked the SPRO for release strategy config?

do transport the customizing request to the testing client using SCC1.

About release strategy if its different from dev..then ask your MM consultant to do it.

hi Swami,

Still I m getting the same error work item.

If i execute SWUE, Object Key>PO>When I clcik on Event Parameter button... here release code value <NOT SET>.

How do i give the default value for Release code.

Thanks,

ifor testing purpose...

you can hardcode the release code value in workflow conainer.

Ther you will have one container with release code...

click that..and in that you will find one tab for initial value...there you can hardcode the value....

But this shud be only for testing purpose....

The value of release code should be populated from transaction itself.....through SPRo config.

Hi AR,

the Release Code could be a mandatory element, are you using any Rules?

check if there are any mandatory elements and do necessary binding.

Hope it helps.

Instead of doing it in binding...did you do like what i suggested?

Hi Swami,

The probelm is who created PO.. in the configuration his name is there .. Thats y it giving error.

If i create PO with other user , workflow triggring successfully.

Thanks for your support.
