Hi All,
I am replenishing some materials from my Main Sto type - SU managed (200) to Production area (100) non SU .
While creating TO system is not creating the TO as its expecting SU number to be in Sto type - 100 also.
Transaction.. LT04
Update key... 4B0B7A9375F4012EE10080000A02F111
Error Info... L3 530: Error occurred while reading storage unit 1002355662
how to proceed to create and confirm TO in this case.
R.Kannan.
Hi,
Based on your description I think you are doing a two-step picking process. This process consitis of two parts (I'm speaking only about material staging):
- stock removal (from "normal" storage bins --> storage type 200)
- stock allocation (from storage type 200 --> dynamic bins in storage type 100)
You can execute / manage it from transaction LX39. So, do not use LT04...
Production supply storage type is intermediate storage type similarily e.g. to 916 so please forget to set SU for it.
Please read SAP online help about 2-step picking:

Hi Mr. Kannan,
While doing the replenishment process, remember that it shouldnot happen from the storage type which is SU managed. Please try with the option to replenish for production from an Interim Storage type and not from the Main storage type (SU).
Let me know if this works and fulfills your business requirement.
Thanks

Hello,
Production area is part of a "storage type" (WM-PP interface) which is part of a warehouse. So the storage type linked to production area should be maintained SU managed.
You can use standard WM-PP interface for production replenishment. For this, you have to maintain 319 replenishment movement type in WM, and create control cycle LPK4 for materials for released order parts. This will allow you to bundle production replenishment items by process order, by material, by date or by range of the above.
Thanks,
V
