Deski report scheduled from Infoview returns Refresh failed (80004005)



I'm relatively new to the BO product suite and have been handed the poisoned chalice of System Admin after our contract guru left, so forgive me if this is a very basic question.

I'm trying to get some Deski reports scheduled from Infoview and written to a File Location as an XLS. The status is failed from the Deski JobServer and the error message is 80004005, reagrdless of destination.

The report runs fine as a Deski report and there's nothing meaningful in the Auditing files (nothing meaningful to me anyway). We're on version 11.5, recently upgraded from 6.5.

Any pointers on how to address the issue welcome
