Consignment issue question

Hi,

we have customer consignment stock for customer X of 10,000 ea of material A

this is confirmed in both MMBE and MB58

A KE consignment issue sales order is entered for customer X for a quantity 500 ea of material A

The Sales order determines item category KEN and schedule line items category C1 (and also allows C0)

There are no other consignment issue sales orders on the system but the order is not being confirmed.

I have checked the item category config and special stock W is set.

I have tried rescheduling the order and changinge the date. I have tried switching the schedule line item caetgory to C0 but, although this allows the order to be processed through to delivery , the delivery then fails with an erorr saying that there is no stock for the delivery.

I am baffled - why is the system unable to read or allocate the consignment stock? What am I missing?

    Hi,

    Thats nothing because i think you have skipped the initial step in the consignment process and that is the CONSIGNMENT FILLUP step.

    That is, initially you need to send the stock to a neutral location and then start issuing when it is required.

    For a better understanding:refer the below link:

      SAP 2020 - Consignment fill up has already taken place, as I said, consignment stock for the customer is clearly visible.

      Dharani - yes, C0 has movement type 633 assigned.

      So, thanks guys, but I still do not have an answer.....

    Hi

    Why dont you check the setting in the schedule line category C0? May be the movement type 633 is not there..

    Cheers

    Before trying to propose a suggestion, please let me know whether the KE order has been created without referencing the F8 proforma or it has been referenced.

    In standard, if you create an issue order referencing F8 proforma, the corresponding stock will automatically be transferred to issue order. This being the case, I am at a loss to understand as to why in your case, it has not been confirmed.

    Though you have already indicated, just recheck whether the movement type assigned are

    Consignment fillup => 631

    Consignment issue => 633

    thanks

    HI,

    Did you create the consignment issue with reference to fill up?. If you have maintained batch you need to maintain same batch also.
