Issue in method CL_BCS->SET_MESSAGE_SUBJECT (long subject line of email)

Hi Experts,

We have used method CL_BCS->SET_MESSAGE_SUBJECT to set a long subject in email. The long subject is only visible for few users in Outlook, while others are seeing truncated text in subject line. Issue is happening for Business users and not for IT users (IT support team).

Need your inputs on following points:

  • Is there any user specific configuration for long subject in outlook?
  • Any important pointers which we should check from ABAP/Basis end?
