Hi All,

I have used "Message e000(38) with 'Please Enter valid No'." , Once entered wrong parameter value it used to exit and not again going to selection screen for value reenter. which error messae will go to selection screen again once entered wrong value.

Try syntax:

MESSAGE ID .. TYPE 'S' NUMBER .. DISPLAY LIKE 'E'

Message type 'E' within 'START-OF-SELECTION' would exit the program. Work around would be changing this to message type 'I' (information) and issue statement 'STOP' right after that .

Hi Ted,

But i have used parameter value selection within start-of-selection , if user enterd wrong value then it should popup error message and then got to again selection sceern. For this how to use error message?

I got answer, as said below one.

MESSAGE i999(zttl) WITH 'No data is there'(m06).

LEAVE LIST-PROCESSING.
