Proble in SC State while adding a software component into a Track

Hi all,

I have created a product, software component in SLD and added the dependencies to the software component in SLD and in CMS i created a track and include the software component which i have created in SLD. For this software component SC State is not at all displaying (red, yello, green). How to change the SC state of the software component. Is there any procedure to do that, if so could any tell me the procedure.
