Who responsible for

Hi SAP teams and Experts,

We have 30 professional users in one customer account under one company name.Due to expansion, there are 2 subsidiary companies whom have 50% shares per each subsidiary. We are headquarter and 2 others are our branches that will run B1 separately.

Now we want to divide the licenses. The partner that implemented SAP B1 in our company will do novation agreement and stated that the subsidiaries are under the HQ and the new accounts contains 2 account numbers i.e. subs. 1 and subs. 2.

Who responsible for doing that in the SAP partner company ? is it SAP support helpdesk or SAP business consultant or SAP sales consultant?

I suggest that it must be SAP sales consultant that must do it. I am sure that SAP support helpdesk will not able to do that. Pls confirm it to the partner. If SAP agree with my suggestion, I will tell the SAP partner company's name

Rgd,

Steve

    Hi Steve

SAP Business One is not sold directly by SAP, only through a Partner network. If you would like to contact SAP directly you would need to speak to your Partner's Channel Manager. If you are unhappy with your current partner you could be re-assigned a new partner if you contact SAP directly.

I hope this is the type of information you were after?

    • Hi Peter,

Thx for explanation. I am talking about SAP partner but not SAP AG.

I am just unhappy if the rule from SAP AG states that partner's SAP support consultant or support helpdesk is responsible for license novation agreement which the case is what I mention in previous message.

The SAP rule must be changed. The responsibility of license novation agreement must be a business consultant of the SAP AG's partner that sell and implement SAP B1 product. Please change this rule and policy asap
