how can I open the firewall to enable the SAP download Manager to access my download basket at sap market place ?

yes i am inside my company's network and we have a proxy server to access internet which asks for user id and password.

is there a way, to find out what are the ports being used then we can open them in the proxy server ?

Hi,

try using https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/ as your Sap Service Market place Address

What is your companys default port when accessing the internet?

Have a look at your intenet browser connections (LAN Connections) use the port there.

If when connecting it's asking for a user ID/password this is probably the browser connection to the outside internet through you companiys windows Domain server?
