Parameters passing to Word template in runtime

Dear All,

Can we pass parameters in runtime to word document.

I had a standard word template in which I need to pass parameters in runtime to the template like name, employee id.

Is it possible?

Thanks,

Rajesh N

I had a doubt, is the 'Attach with template' functionality using templates (Word/PDF) applicable only to saved business transactions?

    Here's my scenario in detail...

Suppose I have configured a template and a web service ready for an 'Appointment'. While creating a new appointment, after entering all the required details , and before hitting the Save button, if I select 'Attach with template' and select the desired template, will my template be populated with the required values?

Or is it possible only after I click on Save, and then open the template?
