AVC Ledger is not automatically updated

Hi

i have configured BCS on ECC6. When I have tested budget transactions on TEST system, a AVC Ledger is working on TEST system perfectly. but, after Production system was copied with a test system , a AVC Ledger is not updated on Product system. eventhough budget and release documents were generated successfuly, a consumable budget is not come out on FMRP_RW_BUDCON report and FMAVCR01 report.

So, I run FMAVCREINIT and consumable budget is come out on them. the problem is that i always run FMAVCREINIT after doing budget transactions. please give an idea why system doesn't update AVC ledger automatically.

Hi,

did you run report RGZZGLUX at any time? If not, please run it. make sure that nobody is working in the meantime, otherwise you might find inconsistencies.

Thanks for your reply. i tried to run RGZZGLUX as you recommended. however, nothing is changed. since a budget document and a release document were generated via FMBB successfully. I have checked a consumable budget on FMRP_RW_BUDCON but the figure was not come out. so, i run a FMAVCREINIT and then a consumable budget is displayed.

i think that the FMAVCT table is not updated by system.

i have no idea regarding this problem on product system. i have checked configuration several times but still i couldn't find any clue. budget and release document were generated successfully via FMBB. (test system is ok), however FMAVCT table was not updated. when i should run FMAVCREINIT, the FMAVCT table is updated. give me an advice where i check regarding this problem.

Hi,

When you ran FMAVCREINIT, did you select 'Reset index table'? If not, run it again with this selection. It looks to me that the system has not established a relationship between budget objects and control objects.

Thanks for your reply. what you mentioned, it had been already run several times. unfortunately nothing was changed. the strange thing is that only release transaction did not affect FMAVCT table. whenever the accounting document was generated regarding the budget, the figure in the accounting document was on comsumed budget field in FMRP_RW_BUDCON report. it means that the actual transaction affected the FMSVCT table. the system administrator made production system via client copy. i think that something was missed during the client copy . because everything is fine on all clients of test system. In my guess, if right, do i need to resend configuration to product system one more? what do you think of this, MIng ?

Hi MK.

I don't think you can make a client copy to a production system because this will wipe out all your production data. Apparently your production system is not a productive 'production' system. What I would do is first making a blank system then move BCS configuration transports to it and see whether it works.

i have resent all configuration to product system (exactly client130 on product system) once more. but still same. However i found one thing during the test. it is that the FMAVCT table was not updated by a budget release work. even if the release transaction was worked successfully, i need to run FMAVCREINIT to show the transaction figure on consumable budget in the FMRP_RW_ BUDCON. but, other accounting documents related to the budget were came out on consumed budget in it.

it means that they were inserted to FMAVCT table successfully. as you know, the configuration of release scenario is simple. but i could't find any problem on it. i need an advice How FMAVCREINIT do to display figures on comsumable budget

Hi.

You should re-activate EA-PS, that is transaction SPRO -> Activate Business Functions -> Enterprise_Extensions -> Select EA-PS -> Activate Restart in the System Settings menu. And then re-execute transaction FMBB and FMAVCR01.

We had same error but when i tried above process, the error is solved.

You should try it.

we faced the same problem. But we are working with BCS on 4.7.

So we cannot re-activate EA-PS, that is transaction SPRO -> Activate Business Functions -> Enterprise_Extensions -> Select EA-PS -> Activate Restart in the System Settings menu.

Any ideas?

Hi Jistinas,

We are also facing same issue. In our case table FMAVCT is not getting update for few documents. After running transaction FMAVCREINIT our problem gets solved. But again table does not get updated with new docs.Please let me know what you have done to resolve this issue. Do I have to re activate EA-PS in test system and production system. Please confirm the same..
