Collect participans and collect Non-Partcipants

Hi,

I created all the settings for campaign automation. i mainted evey thing in sequence..after starting campaign automation i am getting this error

Collect participants and collect Non partcipants are not maintained target groups and not maintained BP,s in the target group.

after sending trade invitation the maul form will be reached to customer and customer will respond to survey.then respondents and non respondents will reached to respective nodes.

i maintained rules and conditions in response node.

i dont know why it asking to fill target group's with bp's before start campaign automation.

Normally after starting campaign automation the respondents and non respondents are reached to respective nodes.

can u please provide solution for this problem.

The way I have set up campaigns is to create a copy of the TG which you want to send all the emails to.

Then when someone participates, you have a trigger which adds them to a new TG called participants AND another that removes those same people from the copied TG, which leaves you with a TG at the end, of non-participants.

my campaign structure is like this

start node ... > Send Trade Invitation ...> Survey response....> Thank you mail

Collect participants

collect non-participants

collect non reponders ..........> Remainde email

in my scenario system is triggering 2 work flows 1.start campaign process and 2. send target group to channel.

After that it is showing below error messages

Execution Log No business partners exist for execution with current target group Collect Non participants Display

Execution Log No business partners exist for execution with current target group Collect TG Participants Display

After starting campaign automation system execute one by one node.i am totally confused it is strucked here.

can i get any solution for this issue

Are you using the Campaign Automation (Java) process? It sounds like you're missing the Decision node maybe?

This is how one of my campaigns looks. We are asking the customer to sign up for one of our 4 newsletters, which the Decision node adds them to the appropriate new (empty) TG (CE3 to 6).

Start begins the campaign (send the email) and if they respond to anything, the Decision node removes them (CE8) from the original TG that was sent to channel in CE1 and sends out a Thank You email (CE2)

CE7 is a reminder sent back out to any of the original TG that haven't been removed yet.

Hi,

i maintained rules and conditions in Decision node.My doubt is i maintained rules based on catageory campaign elements and questionnaire.can we maintain rules based on catageory campaign element.i think in my example it is not correct to maintain rules based on campaign element.

can u suggest me how to maintain rules for catageories in campaign automation.

i had one more issue regarding inser url to mail form.when i am inserting URL to mail form i am getting this options like

URL Catageory :

Tracking option : with out tracking

via target site

via intermediate site

in campaign automation i never maintained url catageory.it is mandatory to maintain while inserting url to survey.what is the importance of Maintain URL Catageory while insert url to mailform.where it will effect

Regarding tracking options which option we need to maintain while inserting url to mail form.

if we maintained Tracking options Via target site and via intermediate site options where we can track weather customer is responded for survey

I believe the only interaction with Elements in the Decision Node is when it counts the number of contacts made by a specific element before triggering another step.

i already verified in sap library

while inserting url to hyperlink in mail form i maintained Tracking option is Tracking through intermediate site but i am not able to see that tracking details

Actions for Campaign Automation

An action is a planned follow-up activity or task that is designed for reacting to a situation encountered in a business process. Actions can be scheduled, started (manually or automatically), and monitored.

In campaign automation, examples of actions are:

- Responding to a marketing campaign

You can create an action that will create an Opportunity that also alerts the sales person responsible for an account, etc...which then shows up on the CRM Web Client UI in the appropriate Search (Activities, Opportunities, etc)

The SAP Best Practices CD has some Scenarios with full instructions to take you through the whole process. I don't see them online where the Building Block Library is...so you might have to do some digging to find them.

My requirement is i inserted url to mailform and i maintained Tracking options via intermediate site options where we can track weather customer is responded for survey.i verified in links what u provided. where i can see this results

Hi Mike

I have started campaign automation process and the number of outbound contacts for First Email got updated. But the problem is the campaign is not going to the next wave.

The empty target group in the reminder campaign element should also be updated which is not happening. Our requirement is to have communication Direct Mial1 and Email1 for the first time. Then after 7 days call or Email2 should go to the non respondants. Please can you tell me what rules should be taken for this requirement?
