Dear All: I have the following requirement.
At Usage decison I need to be able to transfer stock to a storage location - std movement type 323
1. I have configured the Quality inspection> inspection lot completion> "Define Inventory Postings" portion of IMG as follows:
TRANSFER02 Stock transfers (StLoc) 323 311
VMENGE01 To unrestricted use 321
VMENGE02 To scrap 553 551
VMENGE03 To sample 331 333
VMENGE04 To blocked stock 350 344
VMENGE05 To reserve samples 350 344
VMENGE06 New material 321 309
VMENGE07 Return delivery 122 122
I am assuimng that TRANSFER02 will allow me to move stock to any given storage location at the time of UD
I have created a lot - inspection orgin 01. UD is made and when i clikc on the tab "inspection lot stock" i can only see the following entries avaialble:
To unrestricted use
To scrap
To sample usage
To blocked stock
To new material
To reserves
Return Delivery; pls note i cannot see the entry to allow transfers to a storage location; WHY?
Second questions: Is it possible to add other movement types or change the descriptions on the IMG "Define Inventory Postings"
Regards,
Hi,
You can use the storage location field within the inspection lot stock tab to transfer from sloc to sloc. Ie at usage decision if you want to transfer the stock from sloc X01 to sloc X02 unrestricted then enter the receiving sloc within the STLoc field. Please note though that the storage locations setup for the material must be entered on the material master under the Plant data / storage 1 tab in order for you to post to the required sloc.

Roderick

Hi
TRANSFER01 is actually runs when you execute the T code QAC2-->this will create 323 mvt type which we actually customize in said path.
you can use user exit in Stock posting screen to for QI to QI stock transfer & call same t code QAC2 in background

Hi
please refer document for your querry
Recommendation
Keep the standard settings!
Activities
Check if you need to change the table entries and adapt the table if required.
You may need to make changes if:
You do not want to allow certain movement types.
You want to replace the movement types contained in the standard system with your own modified movement types 9*.
You want to supplement the quantity postings planned in the standard system with other quantity postings.
In this case, SAP cannot guarantee that all of the possible variants for quantity postings will function perfectly without program modification. If necessary, you may have to use the function enhancement (customer exit) QEVA0001 to achieve your aims.
Use the keys VMENGE08 for additional quantity postings. Key VMENGE09 is reserved for SAP.
I hope this will make it clear
Regards
Sujit
