What is source of master data in sap bw on hana?

Hi,

I have one case where I can see data in P and T tables of master data but there is no transformation or datasource or anything present below the object which loads data in the master data.

And also only one field is visible while displaying master data but in attributes 2 fields are present.

Is there any other way data loading is happening in the master infoobject or how the data loading takes place in this case?transfomation.pngp-table.pngt-table.png2-attributes.pngone-field-for-output.png

Thanks Tibbie, I have checked the "Where-use list" button of the InfoObject and this infoobject used in too many infoproviders but the only value of version is populating not for the other 2 attributes how these 2 attributes values are updating that I want to know and also text table is also updating.

Could please let me how the master data maintained directly in RSA1.

RSD1 > enter your InfoObject > hit Display > hit Maintain (master data) > update your master data

the reason you only see "1" field visible, is because you're selecting on the key value (and there's only 1 key field)

Hi,

I suppose you could check "Where-use list" button of the InfoObject.

Maybe this InfoObject is used in InfoProviders and there are some data loaded to the InfoProviders.

Also, master data could be maintained directly in RSA1.
