Accounting View - Valuation Category = X in S4HANA and Currencies Tab

Hello,

1. I have activated the Split valuation in S4H 1709.

2. Material Ledger is activated in S4H

3. I am entering Valuation Category - X (auto batch) in accounting view

Here as soon as I enter X for Valuation Category, the all Currency Tabs goes off e.g. Company code / Group / Hard currency

Before Valuation Category entered, screen looks like blow

After Valuation Category = X entered currencies tab gone off

Is this the standard S4H functionality?

Any impact of this change in Material Ledger?

Hi,

When you have valuation category activated, the 3 level valuation (Company code / group / profit center) will be at valuation type level. It is no more valid at header level.

This is a standard feature itself. To check it, you can go back and select any of the Valuation type. The same Accounting 1 view will show the 3 level valuation details, once valuation type is selected; otherwise not.

It seemed I asked very basic level question. I did check that while displaying the material we should enter valuation type.

Then all 3 company currencies appeared.
