Hi,
I am facing one problem. I have created standard text keys and using them in task lists. If i create a single task list and when i put the operation, operation description and standard text key , a pop up appear asking if i want to copy teh standard text key to operation text. But when i loading it through LSMW this pop up is not coming and the text of standard text ket replace the operation description. Is there any way to avoid this. I dont want to overwrite my operation description with the standard texxt key text.
Hi,
Standard text key is like operation master. For repeated operations you can use this as master data. If you have operation text separately why do you want to use the standard text key. You can use either operaion text or standard text key.

Hi,
Maybe you are looking were you can control the default value of the standard text key. It is possible to link a default text key to the work center. You find the text key in the default tab-page. When you use a specific work center for an activity, the text-key is copied.
Further you can maintain text-keys with transaction CR09.

Hi
we have done like this
We have creaed the std text keys with details
Say based on object type Like motor 305f is objec type
now Say header is annual pm for motor
start with number say 1)clean brush
do not give any text here start with number 1)clean brush
like this spo that your details are in the long text but they will not be copied in the operation header
check

Hi
See please follow the path which we have used
step 1
ceate std text by tcode CA10 here you create std text say I have created C355EA where 355A is my lift station & A is annual Maintenance
Go to Long text in the same tcode now enter following in the long text as I have stated
1. Check, clean and ensure proper integrity of electrical panels
and its components, exposed cables, cable entry points. you can add more in long text as per your requiremnt
Now you have created the STD text `correct'
Go to task list creation
Say Ia05
enter all the details like planning plant & other which are mandatory in the task list
Now go to operation in the task list
enter STD text key C355EA in the field
once you enter you will see that there is no operation descrtption copied in the Task list so as per your agenda the STD text Key text is not copied in the operation header
But if want to see the details of the text whcih you have entered in the text which is
1. Check, clean and ensure proper integrity of electrical panels
and its components, exposed cables, cable entry points.
you can see in the Long text
Select operation select long text button on the top
so as per your choice you can give operation header
Hope you understands this
