Variant Configuration to several leves

Hi everyone:

I need to get a several levels into my material structure using the Variant Configuration for the FERT as well with the HALB.

I need to set up my FERT since the Sales Order, but, the lower level, I mean the HALB, needs too be configurated, but not in the Sales Order, but rather this task should be made into the Planing Department.

So my doubts:

What Strategy group I need to use for both levels [Fert & Halb] into my MRP3 view?

Anyone have study material about this req?
