Update COPA Tables with new Value with out signs

Hi All,

I have a value field which was sign sensitive before and posted values by sign accordingly. Now we have removed the sign sensisitivity on this value field but we also want to change all the historic data so that it doesnt have any sign. Is there a way I can change historic values of this value filed in all the COPA tables? Is there any complications I would run into if I try this?
