Reserved the stock for a sales order but getting error during delivery

Dear Friends,

I have reserved the stock for a sales order.I have done it through transaction code MB1B and used movement type 412 E.

In stock overview I can see,that stock is in the unrestricted use and reserved against sales order.

But when I am creating delivery document and clicking on PGI,I am getting an error saying,"Deficit of BA Unrestricted-use 2 TO "

As I mentioned above in stock overview batch/weight the material everything is correct.I mean batch is of 2 TO.

Checked with OVZ9 and ensured tick for include Sales reqmts.

Can we rserve the stock for a sales order in case of Make to Stock without creating delivery document?

As i mentioned in my earlier posts I tried to reserve the stock against sales order as below,

MB1A

Used movement type 232E.When I checked the stock with MMBE,stock was reserved for particular sales order.Here I could see particular sales order number also.

But when I tried to create the delivery document for the reserved stock against another sales order,I could create the delivery document.

Actually system should not allow to create delivery as the stock was reserved for particular sale order.

Am I missing here or using wrong transaction code or wrong movement type?

Ticked include sales reqmts for daily requirements as well as for batches.

Material is batch management.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

hello, friend.

experts, correct me if i'm wrong but...unless the sales order was created in an MTO scenario, the system will continue to look for material quantities in unrestricted stocks instead of sales order stocks. the search is influenced by the requirements type and strategies as indicated in the sales order.

As suggested by you ,I tried with movement type 411 E but I am getting error saying," Deficit of Sales order st. unr. 2 TO : 601100050 RM02 FG21 0108001119 E".

But if I check the stock it is there in unrestirceted.

Please help me to resolve the issue.

Stock is getting rserved through movement type 412 E but getting error for delivery.

Hope you have seen stock in MMBE: which will show the available stock in Inventory, which doesnt mean that its ATP stock.

IF there is any open orders/deliveries exist, still it shows in stock, but actually, this stock will be reserved against to the particular Open documents. Either you can view these doc's in MD04 wrt: Material/Plant OR you can check in VL06.

- once re-check, in Stock overview in this storage location stock exist against to the Sales order.

Hi,

It means system searches stock in unrestricted, and showing deficiet, please check had you posted your stock against that perticular order,

select movement type 413 and post against order & then go for delivery

Hi,

Please use movement type 411E for reservation of stock against sales order.
