Hi All,

What is the difference between 4.7 to 6.0?

Like u201CNEW GLu201D concept

Is there any new another concepts FI/CO point of view?

The major differences are the following:

1. Real time reconciliation between FI and CO.

2. Profit Center Accounting - in ECC 6.0 we have the Classic PCA under CO as well as the new PCA under FI new GL.

3. Document Splitting functionality - this helps in self balancing of each and every profit center.

4. Profit Center Accounting in the New GL can account for all the balance sheet items, and will match 100% with FI results.

Except New GL Concept there is not differece between 4.7 version and ecc 6.0 except the old reports like FBL3N is replace by new reports like "FAGLL03"

Hi,

There is no difference except the New GL functionality.

There is one difference for Item Interest calculation. In ECC6.0 you use FINT for calculating customer item interest calculation and FINTAP for vendor item interest calculation and moreover to see log for item interest calculation you use transaction FINTSHOW.
