Is it possible to create new insp lot from Existing insp lot @ diff Loc

Hi Guys,

I have one issue please do needful, Inspection lot transferring from quality loc to another quality loc within plant iam using QAc2 (This is working) but I want to split the inspection lot quantity I need to transfer another location.

Is it possible to create new inspection lot from Existing insp lot @ different location for Partial Qty??

Hi

There is one solution for this apart from the inspection lot creation.

While taking UD in stock posting screen,While putting Quantity to Unrestricted you can change storage location.

Like say lot size is 100 .

Then in storage location screen put 50 Qty in storage location X

& remaining QTY 50 into storage location Y.

We are not taking UD

lets say I have Insp lot with 01 insp type - Qty 100 @ Storage loc A

I need to split this Qty(20)and Place in Storage loc B

finally 1 insp lot @ Storage loc A - Qty80

2 insp lot @ Storage loc B - Qty20

Whatever i have explained in possible without taking UD.Just go to stock posting screen without UD and put the Qty against unrestricted field's different storage locations.

No Posting again in Quality through stock posting screen as per my knowledge is not possible.

Either you can manual stock posting from unrestricted & create 08 type inspection lot.This is possible.

What I said was.......lets say material is in QI stock.You have taken UD & Total material moved to unrestricted.

Now you want to post the QTY say half into sLoc Y.

From unrestricted move half the material to Sloc Y by MB1B-->311 mvt type.Here you activate 08 inspection type.Lot of 08 inspection type will be created.Take UD & post material to SLoc Y.

I hope I have made it clear.

Also what first option suggested was much more simpler than this one.
