How to hightlight the whole row using Exception in BEX of 3.5 version?

Hi, Expert:

I am trying to build a report in BEX with 3.5 version. We have 2 key figures X and Y in report. I need to color highlight the whole row in Red if X>Y, and in Green if X<Y.

I could not find a way to build exception directly based on comparison of X and Y. So I created a new calculated key figure "X-Y" and used it value for Exception. Is there a way to do this in 3.5 version without creating the new calculated key figure "X-Y"?

Also I could only highlight the column for key figure "X-Y". But I would like to hide the column "X-Y", and highlight the whole row based on the value of column "X-Y". I remember did something like highlighting the whole row in BI 7.0 version. But can not find how to do this in BW 3.5 version. Can someone please let me know if this can be done and how to do this in BEX with 3.5 version?

Thanks,

Jenny
