Inspection lot for quality material with account assignment category P

Hi,

I have one requiremnt. When ever i create a PO for quality material with acount assignment category P , it gets directly consumed and no inspection lot has been created. My requirement is to create inpection lot and then quality posting irrespective of the account assignment category in PO whether P or Q. Is there any way out for this.

I doubt whether you could achieve with exits. Kindly check with SAP for a possible outcome

i am trying to map the process like this. If a PO is created for quality material with account assignment category P, then the material will move to block state. and a approver will be required to move it back from block state to consumption. My problem is for this material with P category, i am not able to find the material once posted in block state. where i can see how much material is threr in block state with p category and aulity material. any help.

Hi,

The std design is that consumption stock is considered to be consumed once GRed. Instead of 'P' why don't you use 'Q' stock ?

Later you will be able to issue this stock to WBS element.

As Gajesh said pl raise this issue with SAP.

For P you can create inspection lot, but it will not have the stock posting option. there is no standard solution .
