Why are there so many installations (IB53) after SOLMAN_SETUP?

Hi,

after a new installation of SolMan SPS20 and running SOLMAN_SETUP there are about 109 installations (iBase) in IB53.

All do have the same description "SAP Solution Manager Installationen".

Does anyone now why this happens?

Do I need these installations later?

How can I delete the not necessary installations? Is there a special report for that?

Hi,

Check this note 1049800

Use this funciton module IB_IBASE_DELETE_IBASE, IB_COM_DELETE_IBASE to delete ibase.

This should solve your problem.

thanks for your answer.

Note 1049800 (Error occurs while deleting component of a IBase) is not what I am looking for.

The function modules will help me.

But there are still two questions:

1) Does anyone now why this happens?

2) Do I need these installations later?

Can you list a part of yout IBASE here. That will help to check if your iBase creation is normal.
