DB2 adminstration on AIX 5.3

HI,

I am new to AIX 5.3 and DB2 enviroinment ..Can anybody please help me for the DB2 administration(Covers with command for diffrent scenario) on the Unix platform..

Please also ensure to configure your db parameters as per the note relevant to your db release level:

Note 584952 DB6: DB2 UDB Version 8 Standard Parameter Settings

Note 899322 DB6: DB2 V9.1 Standard Parameter Settings

Note 1086130 DB6: DB2 V9.5 Standard Parameter Settings

Note 1329179 DB2 V9.7 Standard Parameter Settings

Hi Daniel,

in addition to the documents to what Markus referred I would recommend you to have a look at the Redbook [AIX Administration|http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg246191.html?Open] in order to get familiar with AIX. (There are some more interesting documents). Another great source for getting DB2 information is [DB2 Information Center|http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/db2luw/v9r5/index.jsp] (also available for other DB2 versions).

That might fill some evenings
