showing Message type 'E' In ALV usng oops, throws me out of the program !!

Hi All,

According to my requirement , i have a selection screen and after giving values in this i use set_table_for _first display method to show the data.

I have used container and i have made the fields inside it as hotspot enabled as the end user do not have a mouse,

we have to handle hotspot click,

so i set the cursor on one field by default and the user can use his arrow keys to navigate ,

and if he selects anything and if that record is already opened by someone then,

i am showing an error message. like message E020(ZXXX)',

this gives me an error in the screen, but when i click on any thing after this then the program exits totally,

which i dont want and i should make the user to select other recordds....

I have to show only an Error message not any other S,I,A....

and i have to show it in this screen that is the container only....

Is there any other way to handle this or any thing.. please suggest me something...
