deletion flag could not be set to PM Order -reg

Hi,

To archive old PM orders we are trying to put deletion flag which we could not do due to the error

Release order before saving

but when i try to do it through IW32...order ..functions .... release is not active (its grey )

when i open order in IW32 , order status is CLSD MANC NMAT PRC SETC

when i try to put deletion flag order status is changing to CLSD DLFL MANC NMAT PRC SETC with the error "Release order before saving "

i could not save as its an error when i come out and open again its again CLSD MANC NMAT PRC SETC

with out deletion flag set

whats the issue

any inputs ?

the issue was not resolved at our end

but to facilitate current questions( as i should not have more than 10 unanswered questions ) i have made it as answered

What is the error message text including message number

Check for Business transaction authorisation " LKZS - Set deletion indicator "

Deletion flag should be allowed to set here. Check whether the message is raised from the Customer exit on save of the order.

Not sure exactly what is the situation. However, first cancel 'Business close' and 'TECO' then see what is the system status. If it is not 'REL' yet release it and save. Then TECO, Business close and set deletion flag.
