Inventory initialization load - BI7

Hi,

I collected in my production system (for estimated purposes) inventory information for 01/01/2008 and forward. It took 14 hours elapsed time to finish the setup table for 2LIS_03_BF.

It would be very hard to downtime the system for 14 hours due to our company is 24/7.

Now I need to find different approaches on this one:

In MM, can I collect only 2009 and then in another day 2008 for BF and UM? See below steps I was thinking:

- collect BX for all materials and all plants

- collect BF posting 01/01/2009 up to go-live

- collect UM posting 01/01/2009 up to go-live

- load in BI INIT; compress them

- get deltas

Then 1 day later:

- collect BF posting 01/01/2008 to 12/31/2008

- collect UM posting 01/01/2008 to 12/31/2008

- load in BI FULL; compress them

- get deltas

Do you think this will work with all u201Cmarker updateu201D flag and non cumulated KF?

Other ideas?
