Technical Upgarde of SRM5 to SRM7

Hi All,

We need to upgrade our SRM system from SRM5 to SRM7 only technical upgrade.

I want to know the below things incase of Technical upgrade from SRM5 to SRM7.

1. What are aspects to be identified from the ABAPer point iof view.

2. List of ABAP Objects involved in the upgradation process

3. High level overview of Technical upgarde

If anyone have any documents or links on the Technical Upgrade of SRM5 to SRM7 system,

please reply to the thread.

Hi,

1. What are aspects to be identified from the ABAPer point iof view. - SRM 7.0 uses lot of new technologies for example ABAP Webdynpro, OOPS based PDO architecture layer, Meta data for filed and action control, process controlled workflow, portal..etc. You should consider these.

2. List of ABAP Objects involved in the upgradation process

Not sure if I understand the question. may be you should explain it a bit more.
