Valuated material to Non valuated material movement

Hi

I have an issue ,my client wants his Valuated material to move from one plant to another....say from plant 1000 toPlant 2000.

Material A is valuated in Plant 1000 & will be moved to Plant 2000 .

Now the Material should not have any value in Plant 2000.only quantity will be shown in stock.

Can i have a material as non valuated B in plant 2000 & can move A to B using 309 Mvt type.

If so what are the settings to be done......i tried in MB1B with Mvt type 309. it was not possible. system asks for a seperate Gl A/c & other settings.

Please help.

Hi

You can create a free goods PO in ME21N (Tick the free goods Indicator)against the supplying plant as vendor .Perform GR at the recievinlg plant .You will notice that your stock has been incerased without any accounting impact

Dear,

Create PO with Free goods Indicator checked...

Now try to do GRN for above PO at receiving Plant.

Here you will not get any accounting entries.

Hi,

Just Remove the Value update tick mark from material master and proceed for STO.
