Hi experts,
I have ERP, Portal, Web Dispatcher in my system landscape.
I have configured availability monitoring for ABAP and JAVA with CCMSPING and GRMG according to availability monitoring documents.
However, how to configure the availability monitoring for Web Dispatcher?
Thanks and Regards,
Kevin Yu

I am not aware of a way to monitor from within CCMS or SAP transactions.
However, there are monitoring web pages available and OS commands (icmon)::

If you have an external monitoring solution it may be able to parse the data on these pages to provide a status.
Currently, we monitor on the OS by having our monitoring solution check for the existence of the 'webdisp' process on Unix. If the process is not found, it generates an email alert. We have not yet run into a situation where the process is running but the web dispatcher is not functioning so this seems to suffice for the time being.
If anyone has some better, more robust solutions, then I would also be interested in hearing.
Hope this helps,
Steve
