I'm trying to create a secure connector, using https in the web services uri, to connect to a Sun IDM solution running on another machine. I have SSL enabled in j2ee and I've imported the client certificate within the Visual Administrator Keystore's TrustedCA. The test connection fails and there are no errors or messages in any of the logs. The AC 5.3 configuration guide, pg 88, suggests using a secure https connection when creating a connector but I can't find any information on how to do it. Any help would be appreciated. I'm running ECC 6 w/ GRC 5.3 SP8 on Solaris 10 x86.
Hi Jones,
have you tried to call the SUN web service URL directly in the browser of your AC system. At least you would know that the basics work. Second step is the "test connection" in CUP. Does it work?
To test the receiving web services I always use a tool to encure that is working before configuring it in AC. There freeware out like firefox poster or soapui.
