PTMW on ESS/MSS

Hi Experts,

Our client currently using PTMW through ITS transaction on ESS. We are experiencing performance issue because of that on ESS. It works very slow on ESS then SAP for some of the functionalities.

Is there any way we can use same PTMW transaction on portal other then ITS?

Would really appreciate prompt response on the same.

Hey hi,

Yes you can do ..........

Make the trasaction i-view ..assign PTMW in the attribute of the i-views........

check the process.

Hello!

I have double checked this with my colleagues and the old ITS-based ESS Services are no longer supported.

Please have a look at note 870126 for further information and which provides also an alternative solution. Although the services might run on the internal ITS they have never been tested.

All ESS application based on the Standalone ITS that were replaced by

new applications based on Web Dynpro (Java) will no longer be maintained

by SAP as of SAP ERP 2005. As an alternative, we recommend the use of

the relevant ESS Web Dynpro (Java) applications.

Affected services are listed in the note.

You can make a transaction Iview, through reports launcpad, It will work as a SAP GUI then

you mean a Transaction iView I suppose?

I'm affraid not. You can take a look at the Business Package for HR Administrators maybe?
