Analyzer: Workbook seetings as default

Hi everybody,

we are working with BEx Analyzer 7.0. Is there any way to set the following workbook settings as default for every new workbook?

- Deactivate option "Display duplicate variables only once"

- Deactivate option "Process variables on refresh"

- Activate option "Allow refresh function for individual queries"

Hi Daniel,

I think what you might want to do it, make a setting you require in a workbook and save the workbook as GLOBAL_WORKBOOK.

the in the workbook properties, under the Global Template, key in the global workbook id there.

as such, everytime you open a workbook, it will use the setting you made earlier in the global workbook.

Well these settings should be default for any user world wide and not just for me.

@Gary: Your suggestion would be just for my own user, wouldnt it?

Hi Daniel,

No. A global template is applicable to anyone accessing the report.

Example, if you included a company logo in your global template, and it was only applicable to the person who created it, then it would defeat the purpose of having a global template then.

I have tried it out on my side and it seems to work. But do let me know if it works/does not work on your side.
