BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN with characteristic value assignement

Hi,

I want to create an order with a service product and characteristic value assignement.

When creating the order in IW31a popup appears and we can input characteristics value for the SP.

It seems that it is not possible to specify char. values by using BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN ?

How can create my order without doing CALL TRANSACTION on IW31 ?

Can you please share how did you achieve this requirement
