Hi,
How to bring the error messge when user tried to change any inforamtion for the deletion material ?because t system show the waring message(that deletion flag is set at client level -MM071).
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Rennuga.A
Making this message an error would make its long text nonsense, as it clearly indicates that it is allowed to do changes.
In OMT4 only the settings for message types of delivered error messages can be taken into account. Entries for selfadmitted error messages are thus ignored, accprding to OSS note 545211.
You can use the userexit to check if there is a deletion indicator at client level, and then do not allow to save if someone uses MM02 for such a material.

Dear Renuga,
Go To Tcode OMT4....
Set the message here for 00 MM 071 as ERROR message.
Now Try it will surely work.

Dear,
The deletion flag is set in a material at client level. If you now want to start the dialog maintenance for this material and select an organizational level for which the deletion flag is set, the system displays a warning message informing on that.
However, if you do not select a view which requires organizational levels, the system nevertheless displays a warning message although the message is supposed to be issued as a status message ('S' message).

Reason and Prerequisites
The problem is caused by a program error.
Check Note 654404...Ask your Basis / Abap Guy to download the correction from Note.
Afterwards if you try it will work.
