Dear Friends,

We are using milestone billing in the sales order without PS integration. Customer decides on a payment schedule with customer which is fed in to the system. He treats all payments from the customer as down payments and then on final receipt will release an invoice for the entrie amount. I have mapped all this in the system.

Now to the problem. I want to upload the past booking form data(sales order data) for the customer. For the payments already received in the billing plan tab(sales order) I dont want a billing block but I also dont want an inovice to be generated for that line item. is it possible to do the same plss assist.

If my explanation is not conclusive enough plss do let me knw .....

Regards

Maddy

Hi Maddy

" want to upload the past booking form data(sales order data) for the customer. For the payments already received in the billing plan tab(sales order)"

As per your question, I can suggest you that if you have already recived the payment in past and want to raise invoice now through billing plan in sales order. Please go ahead with the same, in billing plan put past dates, warning will come ignore it.

Remove the billing block and create invoice. Once invoice posted to FI through accounting document. Take help of your FI to reconcile this accounting document with the payment recieved earlier (you must have the track/document number).

Your FI guys can easily settle down the payment wrt this invoice.

Hope I understood your requirement correctly.

Dear Mr Yadav,

Thnks for the response. My issue is for the payments already received I want the billing status in billing plan tab as "COMPLETED "(as i had mentioned in my first post the final invoice is done at the end we just treat each payment as a down payment request----my FI guy has said tat doWnpayment req for the received payment not required as the requisit adjustments have been done in FI)
