Hello All,
I am facing two issues. One is sometimes when I login to Portal with admin id, it prevents me from displaying contents under the content administration. The reason being a Javascript error at the left bottom of the browser page access denied. However, I am logging in with administrator id.
However, this error doesnt comes always. It comes randomly.
I am getting this error even while executing a portal application that links directly to iviews by
*<a href= ""> </a> tag*
It again sayins javascript error: access denied.
Any idea why this error is coming? How Should i resolve this error?
Kindly advise.
Thanks,

Amey,
Please install fire bug along with Mozilla and try to login to the application. This will help you to find from where the error is coming exactly.
Also, clear your browser cache and try to login and check.

Hi,
how are you accessing your portal? IP, servername or FQDN?
Javascript access denied normally has nothing to do with the portal permissions. If your are accessing XSS in your Javascript, the domain relax property has to be set. The portal does this automatically, but if your are accessing the portal using different domains / servernames, this won't work.

Hey Ameya,
How have you been? Long time!
Is this any mention of the error in the logs?

I tried executing the same application in Firefox 3.5. This gives me no error. I think the issue is with IE. But, I can not restric users from using IE. Is there is any work around for this?
Is there any SAP Note or document available for this? We are on SP 19 already so I dont think this is browser support issue

Hi ,
I dont think its related to your browser version or settings , since you mentioned that it comes up inconsistently . We too faced similar issues in our portal and have raised this in an OSS with sap . Unfortunately there is no workaround . Can you give the details of the error?
Regards
Mayank
