Changes In Personnel Number

Dear Experts,

I have uploaded data for 3495 employees in the production system with personnel number ranging from 1 to 00999999. and have also taken a actual run.

Now client is not keen to keep the personnel numbers as 1,2,3,4,5,etc, rather they want them to be replaced by the personnel number in the format as 100001, 100002, 100003, 100004 etc.

Request you to suggest me the way to implement the same.

Hi

Delete all data using se38 program rpudelpn

and then go to PA04 and create number range starts from 100001 to 999999, serial number 2

then pe03 Numkr feature update the number range 2 for that Personal area or ESG as exsits

and now again upload

I don't think there is any way through which you can edit the already existing PERNRs (Incase there is, let someone else throw some light on it). You will have to delete those existing nos through the program RPUDELPN and then re-create the same with the new pernr with the same info as now.
