Hi,
I am getting an error message " Error in Parent Object" while i run BOM BOS transfer. There is no longtext for me to view the exact problem.
Can u let me know whatz the issue

Check that you might have open the specification to where BOM has to be transferred....come out of that and execute again.....It will work.

Thesre are following probable reasons for this:
Check the filter criteria for the parant material.
Also check the filter criteria for BOM items as well.
The Specification or BOM is in edit mode- change this to display.
If any one of this criteria is not fullfulling then also you will face this issue.

I don't have much information on this but i also had the same error when i was processing BOMBOS transfer, but when i executed after sometime there was no issues again.
Try executing cg37 again , hope it also succeeds in your case
