Hi gurus, I have a problem with my Java Instance. The J2EE server doesn't start. In fact i need to send a message to sap regarding this issue. But before that i want to know if possible we can reinstall just the JAVA Instance. I have ECC6 with MAXDB database in one single instance. I just want to uninstall the JAVA instance and reinstall JAVA with the Java-Add in Function in INST Master. Is that possible without any distruction to the database.
Yes it is possible. The information is available on Homogenous System copy guide. How to uninstall the JAVA stack from a dual stack system.

The problem resolved after i have increase the heap memory for the java instance in config tool. and make sure when you doing the client copy, copy all the users exist in client 001 because all the java users exist in client 001. The java started well.
Thanks.
