Hello Experts,
Im doing configuration in Time Managment,Have created Absence & assigned to absence quota.(For Negative Time Management)..Now when i enter a Absence,it is showing absence days in 2001 over view, but it is not Quota(2006) is not getting deducted.
Have done configurations in base Entitilemnt & Determine Validity and Deduction Periods with 'Rel to Date".
also have maintained 0041.where m going wrong?
Plz suggest for -ve Time Mgnt, how absence quota will get deducted when a manual Entry is done.
any other simplefied way to do the same??
Thanks in advance
Regards
you need to create
absence type
absence quota type
deduction rule - assign the absence type
counting rule - assign the deduction rule
assign the counting rule to your absence type
for 2006 to link with 2001 infotype

Lots of detail to be checked in these customizing area:
'Time Data Recording and Administration'
1. Absences
2. Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas
hv u checked 'Group Employee Subgroups for Time Quotas' and 'Group Personnel Subareas for Time Quotas'
have you define the right counting rule using "define counting rule"?
pls check again.
hope this clue helps u.
