you need to create

absence type

absence quota type

deduction rule - assign the absence type

counting rule - assign the deduction rule

assign the counting rule to your absence type

for 2006 to link with 2001 infotype

Lots of detail to be checked in these customizing area:

'Time Data Recording and Administration'

1. Absences

2. Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas

hv u checked 'Group Employee Subgroups for Time Quotas' and 'Group Personnel Subareas for Time Quotas'

have you define the right counting rule using "define counting rule"?

pls check again.

hope this clue helps u.

Yes dhenny,

First problem was there with deduction rule,I checked complete deduction rule & let me be very clear actaully i made a mistake in Validity period for both absence type & in deduction rule.

Now it is working fine...
