Integrating R/3 and PI

Hi,

Is it possible to connect/integrate R/3 4.7 with PI 7.1 on two different hosts? If so, can someone provide steps and transactions to achieve this? Is there a blog for this scenario? I did search but could not find specific information.

Thanks for your help.

Closing the thread as dead end. Thanks to all who helped.

Yes, you need to create a RFC between your R/3 and PI systems, both RFCs should work fine, and then you can integerate thru tcode sproxy

I already created RFC destinations in R/3 and PI and they both tested successfully. When I go to SPROXY in client, it is giving message: No connection to Integration Builder (only local data visible).

Thanks for your reply but I think there is more than just RFC destinations.

Go to tcode sxmb_adm --> Integeration Engine configuration and give corresponding Integeration server name, see it works

That's already done too.

Check if the sldcheck is working in both PI and ecc

I am not using ECC, it is R/3 4.7 and PI. SLD in PI is working properly. Not sure if I have to do anything else on R/3 side.

Thank you for your help.
