We are using BOE XI R2 SP3 portal solution in conjunction with the developer client to develop and subsequently upload reports to the portal. Some fo the reports include dynamic prompts. We are also using the SDK to refresh the reports and view the results remotely from our ASP.NET web applications. We can set the log on info for the report and in doing so change the connection information from the DEV, to TEST to UAT to PROD data sources however we have found that while this works finds and the report yields the proper results of there are no dynamic prompts if the report does have dynamic prompts (iei business views) the log on info on the business view is what was originally set when it was created. As a result when we change the log on/connection info to another database an exception is thrown because the servername/service name is different than what the business view has. Is there a way to change the business view database connection info from the SDK (not manually) at the same time we are using the SDK to set the connection info for the report itself? Any help here would be very much appreciated as we have been unable to locate a solution thus far. Thank you very much in advance for any help you can offer.
