User specific authorisation for VA01/VA02/VA03 transaction

Hi Friends,

I have specific requirement i.e for eg Sales order created by one user id say X should not be viewd by other user id Y and only user Id X can change his Sales order and vice versa.

Is there any standard solution for this requirement. Please let me know your valuable feed back.

Regards

JP

    Hi

This is an authorization issue and your Basis folks should be able to help you with it.

Also Transaction Variants via T code SHD0 might help you.

    Best Regards

    hello, friend.

there could be an existing setting, but i have not found any authorization object based on User Account. i also do not know if this is possible in SU01.

however, a standard workaround for this is to define sales document types, and to assign these to users. for example, there are 3 users so you define document types ZOR1, ZOR2 and ZOR3. ZOR1 is assigned to user A, ZOR2 is assigned user B and ZOR3 is assigned to user C. of course, this works only if there are limited numbers of users.

if the users belong to different sales areas, then authorizations can also be restricted based on sales areas.

    regards.
