Gate pass for External repairing

Hi,

please guide me for this ,

damaged equipments are sent out side the company for a repairing ,and store people issue gate pass for the same while handing over to vendor,

i understand that this processing can be done using control key,

but how the gate pass in the system will be created ,is ther any provision for that in PM area,

or it has to be develpoed?

You can create notification every time you send damaged equipment to store information concerning equipment you have sent.

When you get it back, close the notification.

There is no sap functionality about this. But in another hand we could generate the Custom T code. Like Dialogue just keep the material document in header (refer only 541 movmenet). Thro Internal table generate the fields like vechile, transporter, remarks..Once you entered the docuemnt the line items, Qty sud appeare in t code line items.

there you can put the RGP, NRGP also. While saving the no has to generate , i mean gate pass no. Reconsilaion , reporting custom code also possible

The entire thing is work in SAP. talk with your abaper

Yes you have gate pass in SAP, for visitors and for Transportation,

Use T-code LECI (Check means of transportation & visitors), for this you 1st define your check point (Gate) in IMG.

Hi,

In Std SAP there is no term Gate Pass.

Subcontracting may help you

Create a subcontracting PO,

In this maintain the component (equipment as material ) in material data tab.

Then issue the material to vendor in MB1B using mvt type 541.

Then receive the Goods in MIGO using mvt type 101 against PO.

This will have to be a custom Notification Print form.There is nothing in standard for this functionality.

There is nothing called "Gate Pass", so you would not be able to create gate pass. You need to do it through development only. But to show the material movement with installation / dismantling, IE4N can be of help. You can think about other workarounds also depending on your requirements.
